For my first issue: I will write about groups that are killing the billboard charts in movies, music, anime, and more.  I have not heard much of Super Junior, and I have decided to write bio for the group.  In J-pop, I have decided to write about Tokyo Girls Style.  A group that I have been a fan of for a very long time. Both great choices to start relaunch.  Enjoy!!!!

Tokyo Girls Style

Tokyo Girls Style has been running really strong for about seven years, with Avex Trax.  They are beautiful, full of energy, and their music and dance moves are great too.  These ladies have been doing really well over the years, and have grown up so much.  TGS has traveled and done so many concerts, even appearing in USA.  As they continue to give concerts, their fan base continues to grow.

Siwon was discovered by the "Starlight Casting System" in 2003 and debuted as a member of Super Junior in 2005. However, he was first officially seen in a music video for fellow label-mate Dana when she was still a solo singer. He quickly emerged as one of the highly visible members, seen on many variety shows, although he has not been of the main vocalists.

Although his current focus is the group, Siwon has also continued his acting career. Shortly after Super Junior's debut, he joined the cast for the Korean dorama Spring Waltz. He has also been part of the epic film Battle of Wits with Hong Kong actor Andy Lau. Battle of Wits was a big budget film with joint collaboration from South Korea, China, and Japan, and was released in China and Hong Kong on November 23, 2006. Siwon promoted the movie in China with a short tour of four cities at the end of November 2006.

Siwon is also a drummer, having performed with the band TRAX in September 2006 on SBS's music show Inkigayo due to the fact that their drummer had left the band. Both TRAX and Super Junior are part of SM Entertainment.

He won in 2007 the "Best Super Model Of the Year" and the "Sexiest Guy in Korea" awards. Due to this winnings, his popularity considerably rose up.

Although Choi Siwon's registered birthday is February 10, 1987, he was actually born on April 7, 1986. Born in Seoul, South Korea, he was raised in an affluent, strict Protestant family. He was scouted by a talent agent when he was 16 as he was waiting for friends in front of his high school. He was recommended to audition for the Starlight Casting System to become an entertainer. Siwon's parents disapproved him pursuing in an entertainment career, so he had to secretly audition. He successfully passed auditions, and after consideration, his parents allowed him to sign under the talent agency SM Entertainment. Siwon said that although his father allowed him to sign the contract, he would not give any help to his son as he wanted his son to take responsibility in his actions.

He later moved into dormitories with fellow trainees and he was trained in areas of singing, acting, and dancing. Siwon stated that SM Entertainment saw potential for him in acting, and thus gave him training in the field. He made his first appearance in a music video of The Grace's Dana when he was still a solo singer in 2003. A year after, he made a brief appearance in the short drama, Precious Family. In 2005, Siwon made a brief appearance in the KBS drama Eighteen, Twenty-Nine as the young Kang Bong-man.

On July 22, 2010, Siwon was appointed as a UNICEF envoy.
